October – December 2024 Community Recap

See how we positively impacted our community this season, check out what we’ve been up to from October to December!

October:

  • October was Cybersecurity Month and Financial Planning Month: We educated our customers all month long on the importance of cyber safety including romance scams, text scams, saving yourself from credit or debit card fraud, phone scams, and online shopping fraud as well as on the importance of financial planning including ways to stretch your retirement budget, cybersecurity and more.
  • Teller Appreciation Week: We recognized our tellers all week to show our appreciation for them.

November:

  • Our President and CEO Robie Suggs was awarded the Leaving a Legacy Award by the African American Chamber of Commerce: Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and was honored at the chamber’s gala for her dedication to our community.

December:

  • December 2-13- 12 Days of Giving: We hosted a giveaway on social media and gave $50 gift cards to your favorite local spots every day for 12 days.
  • December 23 – Christmas Collection: Warsaw Federal teller Brince Etter coordinated a community event with friends called the 1st annual Price Heal Christmas Giveaway. Thanks to the sponsors Price Hill Kroger, Price Hill branch library and Warsaw Federal, we were able to serve over 300 people, providing toys, articles of clothing and food to the Price Hill Community. Their mission was to provide families within the historic East Price Hill neighborhood a sigh of holiday relief through giving, as a way of combatting financial hardship many families go through during the holiday season, and we are thrilled to be a part of such an amazing event.
